My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I love to see James, knowing he is living in Seattle, so close to you. And what a very special capture this is, as if it's a scene in a movie, with his clothes and the mood around James. So well done, Tara. I guess Lucinda will love this photo very much too.

Excellent capture! :)

Wonderful capture, I spent countless hours, days, weeks, months, years, exploring the forest and beaches as a kid. I think I've slept more in the forest and on the beach then my own bed as a kid.

Ah, those were the days..... A wonderful capture, Tara! When it comes to exploring like this, there's a 14-year-old trapped inside this almost 65-year-old body.... I can't wait for next week to get here! With the framing resembling a round doorway, one can almost imagine him as a young Hobbit enjoying a beautiful and peaceful afternoon in the Shire..

I like the way it is framed Tara. That semi-circle on the left, is that the lens on very wide angle?

A beautiful shot... (and a good title, by the way)... It can be out of a fantasy tale...

I do love it, very much indeed! Beautiful composition and framing. I like the way he is framed by not only the tree, but also by the undergrowth and lighting. I love the atmosphere and the capture of James. It has a very 'James' quality to it. Both laid back and observant. Can I copy it to have for myself? I sent the link to James and got the following response (which he said I could post here.) That is a pretty cool photo, I like it. The tree in the corner does some neat things with the perspective. I have no idea what I was thinking at the time, but I like what the renderosity people said about silent reflection, so let's go with that one :-).
