My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

It must be marvellous to have room to let these grow to full size. I have to control any Arbutus that self seed. A most dramatic photo.

Strange bark, but it looks quite beautiful from your hand and camera. :-)

Gnarly. This would make a good image for Halloween.

A most fascinating tree - looks really spooky, and perfect for the upcoming season! A brilliant capture, Tara! I love the rich color and texture of this wood.

Wooden tentacle. Seen very well ..... and you have a wonderful imagination. I love the dark atmosphere in this picture!

Wow, very neat Tara!

I love this shot! The drama of the red branches (very like tentacles, indeed) reaching into the dark woods. It's a perfect setting for a Brothers Grimm tale, the early versions, before they were 'fixed'. Beautiful light, colors, and atmosphere!
