Description

It is mainly folk of this age who still hold hands while walking on the prom. Younger ones, who are not actually actively engaged in pre -coital activity, are usually too busy on their phones to have any contact which each other, physically or otherwise. I made something else out of this image Here

i like the way you take this pic, there is movement in, perhaps not very fast.... ;-) me and y Robby are walking often hand in hand... we are used to.. cell phones stay at home during this time.... we can call back if it is necessary. great and clear peoples at the beach -picture! you see all Andrea!

That is sad to hear that the younger generation does not hold hands when they are married. Superb capture Andrea. God bless.

Poignant pic of the older couple negotiating the promenade, Andrea. She has a rather unique walking style bent over like that, making her appear years older than her male companion, who strides along, straight and tall.

A lovely image and, yes, there is only one shadow. There is a cartoon showing a young couple sitting across the breakfast table and talking to each other. On their cell phones. I like the Flicker image. I think it suggests how the younger generation see our lot, semi-invisible.

I like seeing people holding hands and enjoying each other and their surroundings. Bill and I hold hands a lot, despite the fact that we both have phones! :P

The lady has a strange way of walking with her arm behind her perhaps she has a bad back. I agree on smart phones after watching a young lady walk straight out into a busy road without even looking up from her texting, they should have a health warning on them.

such a lovely pic !...smartphones are the badest invention of this era

Smart phones are okay, how they are used by the younger generation is quite another matter. They seem to be unable to use it as a tool but are instead allowing themselves to be controlled by the phone and its apps. It is just another drug for them.
