Description
LOL, what a little wuss!
Captured 5/26/11, outside the shark lagoon of the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A ZOOM is of the highest priority in this one.
Cruel and unsual punishment inflicted by an uncaring mother upon this mini urchin, stubbornly determined not to view the elegantly designed creatures of the deep as they cavort in the vast pool of water behind the glass, which wasn't very clear due to greasy, sticky urchin hands.
Oh well, I think it's funny.
Ciao

Cute!

Good capture, but I think it cruel for a parent to force a child to do something that frightens them.

I don't suppose they're going to be a big fan of shark week on cable TV. Great catch!

"No you can't make me look! LALALA I don't see them!" Sometimes kids can be stubborn, eh? Funny moment well captured by you, Harry. She's a little cutie, isn't she?

I don't blame him. Every time I'm out there kayaking, I don't look for sharks either :) Poor Kid. Aloha

You captured a perfect moment. The child temporarily dismissed his fear by shutting his eyes. An effective defense mechanism .

He is not a happy guy huh? I'd have my face glued to the glass, in fact I was told I did! lol Great candid mate! Rob

What an adorable face! To me he looks more determined than scared. Maybe this is just one too many glass walls he has been put against and his interest in swimming things has taken a strong backseat to his interest in food, sleep, toys, or whatever else tykes his age are interested in. I love this shot. Wonderful capture of his expression and nice reflection too.
