Yes, that's right -- the Big Two-Five-O-O, captured back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.
Never thought I would post that amount when I first started.
Am still not getting ebots on other member's postings. This is not good, although comments on my own work are coming through okay.

Hey, Harry. I'll come back for a long session soon, but, while here, I wanted to congratulate you on 2500. When this went up, I thought "what a perfect shot for the occasion!" This thing bursts off the page with lush saturated colors, wonderful deep reddish pinks (in the shadows of the flowers), beautiful yellow 'beards' you captured so well, and a wonderful "opening-up" composition---where your main orchid juts forward and shouts its joy in our faces. Wonderful how the piece flows on a diagonal from upper right to lower left. And the leaves behind---esp the upper left corner---they just glow. Wonderful edge lights. I think Georgia O'Keeffe would've flipped for this photo (she painted flowers with this kind of power). Another beautiful flower-capture from you, but this one couldn't be more fitting for this milestone. What you've done since my last visit has jumped off the page again and again, and I hope it keeps coming and coming. I'll be back for more, but congrats on 2500, and for a knockout of a flower image.
