Description

Another type of butterfly for JuliSonne for her very nice comment on one of the previous shots. This was taken at Stourhead Gardens a couple of weeks ago. I hope you like and have a good week to all my visitors. This pic will zoom.

Very nice Jeff. My only nit is that I wish the focus was on the butterfly and not the flower behind it. I'm being super critical though!!!!!!!!! Great job mate.

I have to agree with the suggestions above Jeff, and I agree with Juli...You must be a magnet for butterflies or you spend a great deal of time hunting them. I can just see you out there with a net and magnifying glass!

Aah .... a Small Tortoiseshell. I have also been times gesehen. Therefore, I remember because I determined him wrong and insisted on my right. In hindsight ..... embarrassing! I can offer this. Similar to flowers themselves- we want to shoot these critters that are unusual to a passing viewer. Straight down... I generally do not do that in most cases. Still a nice shot... :-)

Hi Jeff, I like your lovely shot and dedi right who it is. It is great to see also more of that beautiful yellow flowers, as the contrasting colors (the orange and yellow) are lifting up each other. I'm also happy, this beauty is for our 'liebes Mädchen': Sonja-Julchen ;-).
