Description
Taken at the Oakland Zoo, which does a pretty good job of providing good habitats & good care for its residents, as zoos go. I considered posting a less stylized version of this (which I thought was pretty good in it's own right), but decided this version (on which I used the Ink Outlines filter) was better. My apologies to the photographic purists out there, but then you're probably not big fans of my style of photography anyway...
Please zoom or you're missing a lot of detail.

I was just trying to be civil, but you're right Dan - I retract my apology.

Well done! These run all over in my back yard.

I like the ink outlines filter on this ... the stark white of the bird just pops! Terrific result.

This is way cool! I remember riding that "ski lift" thing that took you right over the tiger habitat...course that was a lot of years back!

I agree with Dan - you took this photo for a reason and used the filter to enhance it - your an artist! We have lots of Ibis that congregate on the grassy area between our condo and the lake. They arrive in small groups and when the entire clan has arrives - they fly off into the Everglades for the night!
