Description
Another one of those "sitting around & pointing the camera in different directions" shots. This is the weave pattern on a deck chair. I wasn't sure if this was worth posting or not. I like the pattern, but it's more of a background, wallpaper kind of image, with maybe an op art aspect to it. I wanted to use it as a jumping off point for a photo collage, but so far haven't been inspired to come up with even a hint of where to start. If anyone has any suggestions about where I might take this, I'd love to hear them. Or, if anyone would like to use this themselves in any way, please feel free to do that.
As always, zoom is better...

Interesting weave!

I like this pattern too; my astigmatism wants to pick out the dark line pattern and bring it forward, which gives it a ton of depth. It's almost like a fractal. Nicely seen; and isn't it fun just to point the camera and see what you find in the viewfinder? Isolating things that way really does give them a whole new flavour.

This is oddly compelling. I've been sitting here for heaven knows how long, just staring at it. I showed it to Bill, and he stared for a while, too. If I had this as a background, I'd never get anything done! LOL! There are a few strong horizontals that seem to divide the space into thirds, so you've even got a bit of composition going on. Either that, or my brain just divided the space regardless of what's there. I don't think it needs to be a background for something else ... it stands on its own.

An excellent pattern shot! Someone will find uses for it I'm sure.

I like the tight weave and how the colors change as the lighting differs!
