But the English had been waiting, they sprung their trap and now a lone warrior is left. He'd made his way back to the ship, but who was going to navigate it's way home?

WOW! Both the image and back story are excellent! Very cool character, pose and environment. Love the POV too. One small observation if you don't mind ... I think a little post-work sharpening or contrast adjustment would have been good. But, that's just me. ;-)
