Description
Looking for an appropriate photo to post, as we drive south, to out winter home, in south Florida. I had this Rosina butterfly photo but no real data about it. They are native to Costa Rica, Panama and sometimes found in southern Mexico. This one has about 4 inches (10cm) in wingspan. I’ll be absent from RR for about a week. I’ll do my best to catch up when I get there.
For those that liked my previous post – the Emerald Cross – Wayne (Whaleman) Photoshopped my photo and with his permission, I have replaced my version with his. A big improvement!

Well, this is a most unusual and magnificent specimen, I have never seen or heard of before, it has a WOW factor ! and it simply amazes me, what we can learn from each other, by just posting here @ Rendo, thank you for sharing this pic, Dana (just had to google it some more images, there is even an English Bone China dish design on Ebay available ;) BB

I saw the Rosina gold tea cups and all the Rosina art work. I also found Rosina Storchio, a famous operatic soprano but not much data on the butterfly. :) Thanks for the comment BB and enjoy Spring down there in OZ.
