Description

Looking for an appropriate photo to post, as we drive south, to out winter home, in south Florida. I had this Rosina butterfly photo but no real data about it. They are native to Costa Rica, Panama and sometimes found in southern Mexico. This one has about 4 inches (10cm) in wingspan. I’ll be absent from RR for about a week. I’ll do my best to catch up when I get there. For those that liked my previous post – the Emerald Cross – Wayne (Whaleman) Photoshopped my photo and with his permission, I have replaced my version with his. A big improvement! Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Such a beautiful and rather big butterfly, dear friend! Of course I've never seen this Rosina. Presumably this butterfly will not be easy to photograph, because it has so much black, and so little contrast. Thank you so much for your Dutch writing, it's really very good Dutch. And I was so pleasantly nice surprised. (Which is not to say you should always go write in Dutch to me, though. Then you'll have so much more work by commenting, right?) :)
