Hello! Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to view my work.
This is another image of my dynamic clothing set for Dawn that's currently on sale at Renderosity. I was actually pretty happy with this as a basic portrait. This uses the pinup texture on the top, thigh boots, and skirt, along with my quick edit of Dawn's basic texture, my diffuse texture on the hair, and my materials on everything. I also edited the Montrespan textures to make it red and gold instead of purple (sort of red-violet) and gold. It's an absolutely great set, and I plan to use it in the future. All the materials except the skin, hair, and flames are from my new and in development Essential Materials 02 for P9+ (a merchant resource). The gold on the settee and candelabra are especially different than the original. I revamped the original materials already, and I'm working on making 20 new ones. I've also worked out a spatial gradient equation that should open the door for a second material set. I'm hoping to do some really fun stuff with that in the future. But first I'll have to finish my Pre Raphaelite dress. I want to get that done and out for Halloween, so I'd better hop to it. I should be done with a Dawn version of my Classic Contemporary 01 soon. I just need to finish up the promos. When it comes out, I'll put it in a bundle with the V4 version, and put them both on sale.
Just to say, I'm finding Dawn really easy to work with. I like her zero pose a lot, and her welded mesh makes morph creation _much_ easier. I've recently made an FBM for her that I'm hoping to turn into a character eventually. That's kind of a long term concept, since I've never made one before. I've also got a hair set as a long-term project. I should be able to build on it easily once I satisfy my own standards in terms of quality, but right now, I'm still figuring out what I want to do with it. If anyone knows of any tutorials for modeling mesh hair or getting started creating Poser strand hair, please let me know.
Again, if you have any requests for materials or clothes, please let me know! I'd love some feedback about what people need, what they're looking for.

I like that elegant and confident pose, and the glorious materials! Everyone seems to be enjoying working with Dawn, it's nice to have more 3rd party figures...and nice things for them!

She's not really a 3rd party figure. She's made by HiveWire3D, who are some of the DAZ founders who left the company a few years ago. That said, because she's not actually replacing V4 yet, I have to make multiple version. The current state of affairs is causing me to make refits. If I can figure out how to distribute the refits on their own, I might be making free refits of less popular figures. So let me know if there's any 3rd party figures you'd like to see supported.

Very cool.

You're edging me to get involved with Dawn, with this image, KobaltKween. A very compelling, open pose and attitude, which is a bit how she seems to be designed, so it all fits. Glad to hear she's bending well. The outfit looks awesome. Diaphenous works really well for dynamic cloth: wise choice for material, it is elegantly convincing! Lovely image: her pose makes a strong, positive statement of confidence!
