Hello to all! Thanks so much for taking the time to view my work. And a double thanks to those who take time to comment or favorite. I'm most appreciative.
I'm posting this now to let people know that this is the last day that my two Classic Contemporary 01 sets are on sale. The original is for V4, and the new one is for Dawn. Each set includes a dynamic dress, stockings, earrings, necklace (dynamic and fixed versions), panties, 2nd skin stocking textures, Python script to apply second skin to any texture and most materials (one for V4 and the other for Dawn), and several textures and materials, many of which can be adjusted to make any color you want. In other words, a whole lot of stuff. Because the clothing is dynamic, it fits any size or morph, including ones that haven't been made. It comes with instructions for changing the colors and using the dynamic clothing.
This image shows off the two FBMs I've made so far for Dawn. They use Dawn's expressions and some custom scaling, but no other morphs. If anyone knows how to include scaling information in .pz2 files, please let me know. I'd really like to be able to make characters soon, and I definitely need to use scaling.
The background is by me, made with my own bokeh brush. One skin material is the SSS material that came with Dawn, and the other is my own. The skin texture on both is Dawn's default texture. Both hair materials and diffuse textures are mine.
Just to let anyone who follows me know what I'm doing, I'm packaging and rendering my Pre-Raphaelite set for Dawn and V4. It should have been done at least a week ago, but I worked really hard on the textures and materials. I'm in the middle of making Essential Materials 02, which will have new versions of the original 20 materials and 20 new materials. I'm making that one product rather than a product and an update because I'm changing the original materials enough that I don't want to deprive customers of being able to use or re-download the originals if they want. I did have 3 add-on prop sets for the Pre-Raphaelite dress planned, but I'm not sure if I'll still make all of them.
I think I'm going to start posting my test/in progress renders. Would you prefer progress updates, or only very polished works?

You can post anything you want--I'll look at it! I like the WIP stuff because it's interesting to see the process. As for scaling, a million years ago you had to add it manually to your pz files; I had a figure by Blackhearted (Ki) that was scaled smaller than V3-- and when I looked at the files I could see where he had added a scale command. Poser never used to save scaling..that being said, times have changed. I'll look in the books that I have here and see if I see something and I will PM you. Those outfits look great! I always like the colors and decorations you choose.

Definitely post progress reports: I find that sort of thing exciting. I like the realism reflected in this image: yes, there are mum/daughter relationships like this.
