My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I saw Crater Lake several times when I was a kid (we won't talk about how long ago!), and the images in my head are still crystal clear. Never saw it when there was snow; this is gorgeous!

I also have to say this image caught my eye because of the synchronistic resemblance to my photo"Till the Cows Come Home", shot in Kentucky in January 2010. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2004849&username=ocoee53&page=27&member&np The fact that nature created such similar scenes in opposite corners of the country tickles my rather odd sense of humor, which I don't understand much better than others do.
