My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Superb capture Tara. God bless.

Nice 'traces' (anagram of crates) of the crates Tara and very well spotted.

Well as Jeff is off on a word game tangent, I might add the benefit of a focal "plain" shutter helped :) Nicely done my dear!

Reflections can be so interesting. I wonder what is in the crates. Anyway, it is a very interesting and well done shot. :) Thanks for sharing.

Marvellously seen! I should need to entertain myself with reflections in a place full of machines like that.

Nice to focus on different subjects and capture their essence! Excellent capture!

It just goes to show that not only is this a crate country but you, dear Tara, are a crate photographer!

By heck!!! Rosy The Riveter earned her money on that one :-) and you get a gold star for another fascinating capture..Had to chuckle at ' IN PLANE VIEW ', could have been put there just for you. Now then, 64" long, 70lbs and 1 of 6......too small for .50 cals, could be 30's though...did this plane have turrets??...whatever, another fascinating view through your camera lense... I love the contrast between your 'small' incomplete 'snippet' and Bill's huge yet equally incomplete 'Spruce Goose', marvelous stuff....MORE PLEASE!!!!

Oh my; this is so wonderful! The lines of rivets are crystal sharp, and the reflections of the crates are so soft as they follow the lines of the flat metal; trust you to spot this shot and get it so perfectly. Well done!

Perfect reflections. :)))))) I wonder what is in the crates. :))))) Most excellent capture my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :))))) Carry A Sunshine Smile In Your Heart :))))

Well done. I like the reflections most of all. The uncertainty of what I am looking at makes this even more appealing. We have our own 'Rosie the Riveter' working for Boeing here in Long Beach. She started out in 1942 and, at 93, is still at it.

By golly that IS a crate - it even says so on the side.... LOL! As always a fun capture, Tara! You're always seeing - and photographing - those wonderful little details most of us don't even notice. Brilliant!

So nice and shiney, talking about the riveting fuselage - but the reflections really freak me out, I can't help it, but they do look like coffins to me ... am I the only one, who sees this ? BB

polished metal on aircraft looks so great,
