A true fighter is this young wheelchair users. He places high demands on himself and deserves my utmost respect. This people show other that life is not over if you have a disability. This topic will still taboo - unfortunately also in germany. Therefore their participation is so important here this marathon! 40.Berlin Marathon 2013

When I had learned how to Rollerblade (age 48), I did it almost everyday. Did an average of 33 miles a day. My longest distance 70 miles rollerblading. I was in good condition and with good speed. Then there were 2 guys who brought their wheel chairs. One was a Korean guy who had polio...he was world class and participated in many international events on wheel chairs. They moved very fast and we could barely keep up with them. They are more of an athletic than many of us. My hats off to them and a Standing Salute to them. Aloha

Ein eisenharter Sportler. Ich weiß nicht, warum Rollstuhlfahrer immer so von oben herab angesehen werden. Wahrscheinlich liegt es aber nur an der Sitzhöhe. Ich wurde schon beim Badminton von einem Einarmigen geschlagen, deshalb weiß ich, was in jedem einzelnen "Behinderten" steckt. Dieser kernige Bursche würde mich beim Armdrücken bestimmt so etwas von platt machen. Rispetto! - wie wir Italiker so sagen... Starkes Foto!
