I love this style of images where a barrier seems to separate two identical locations. Is it possible to cross the barrier, or you are only entitled to the smell of mushrooms? Superb image, Juli.

This image has definitely a painterly effect - but do tell me, what is that blue thing (?) in the bottom right hand corner ? My favourite mushies (as Jeff calls them!) or 'shrooms are 'Pfifferlinge' (Chanterelles) and I am looking forward to buy some, if I cannot find them anywhere in Europe ... can't wait ;P BB

Whenever I see a gate I wonder what's behind it. What a great patina on this old gate. Terrific image. Immer, wenn ich ein Tor sehe ich frage mich, was dahinter steckt. Was für eine tolle Patina auf diesem alten Tor. Terrific Bild.
