Description
I found it! Seems it is native to Peru and is a climber or trailer.
Calceolaria tomentosa

Now what is it doing in Lancashire, England...I think a seed must have been in some bird seed.
I will try and keep it indoors overwinter. Thankyou to those who have tried to identify it. I very much appreciate your help.

I couldn't find it, I was looking in British and European wild flowers though!! I think I'll try one of those myself if I can get some seed!

I was too - then I had a brainwave and googled unusual yellow flowers. Says it is an annual, but if I can save seed I'll let you have some.

Such great you did find this very special looking flower, Jenny. I hope you will succeed to let hibernate it. That would be amazing. I looked to your link, and I saw the different photo's of it, thank you for that link, my friend. Do they have any smell, I guess not, huh? Such a kind idea to share your specials to us, Jenny!

Thankyou very much! I hope it survives, and if it is indeed an annual and it does not survive the winter, at least we will have learnt something new:-) No smell really Mies, although the leaves and stem have a herbage sort of green odour if you know what I mean:-)
