Description

How beautiful this sunset shower was to see. Even more so when a second rainbow appeared. Not as bright as the first, but plain as day to the naked eye. Though I took a dozen or so shots It eluded being imaged. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed last years dedication.

Beautiful image and tribute. The light seems to spill from the rainbow like a blessing on the land. I like the light on the ridge where the faint second rainbow begins. Lovely capture.

As soon as I saw the title I realized the significance of the date. Absolutely gorgeous and a worthy companion to the other two pictures. Memory never dies and as long as you have that your mother will be with you.

Yea, wow, exquisite. I love the strong half rainbow and how it lands so firmly on the desert ridge. You captured an exquisite moment as the light is caught just at the crest, either waxing or waning I cannot tell, but still very much in transition, and there for perfectly symbolic.for a memorial work.

I can see the second rainbow to the right and a bit more visible in zoom! That may be a golden rock under the second rainbow. You Mother would have loved this capture - you know how she loved her Maine rainbows.
