Description

This is what happens when I put my Tizzy onto the highest ISO for night shots and then forget. There was no second chance at this delightful random bloke, so here he is in all his grainy glory. I liked him and the expression far too much to bin it. He was such a smashing chap and a real dog lover. Fritz was reluctant to leave him to his work. See a sepia version Here

A 'smashing' chap and a smashing picture Andrea. That is a really 'weathered' face.

Such a great capture of a characterful face... scaffolder's have it tough, especially in the winter months, my nephew did that for a period and it's hard sweaty, wet and often dirty work, horrid in the winter. The water can run down the poles and soak you and run down the sleeve's and so forth. It can also be dangerous work too, know of a scaffolder who lost all his front teeth too a slipped pole being handed down to him, metal shards in the hands even with gloves as the poles slide through the hands.

Blimey to the tenth power! Where did you find this jolly jentleman? Fabulous skin tones, detail, texture and overall scaffolder's aura in this splendid portrait, A.

This is a person whom I would be proud to toss a pint of two and spend a long time chatting about anything Great capture Andrea - you do find the most interesting people!

A fantastic character portrait. He has the kind of face that would go well with a tavern keeper.
