hello all and i'm trying to get in the spirit like the rest of you seem to be...I worked on this most of day today..it's my first tree that I modeled with vue. the texture is off a tree in my front yard...it is tiled image but I don't understand the stretching around the base roots. I need help with texture...if anyone can explain please do. I really worked hard to make the roots look knarly...and the texture looks good on the rest of the tree except the base roots...???confusion..anyway I hope you like. know the scene is simple but I modeled and textured the tree. the terrain and it's texture are out of vue...hope you like and keep up the scares...i'm digging it..have a safe and happy time... ***chills and thrills***

I think this is awesome... first time or not! If you look close you can even see skulls entwined in the ground texture. (of course that may be just me..) LOL.
