Description

hey yall...it's 59 degrees here...yes...and I realize that the plants, insects, butterflies etc will be going soon so I want to show you some more of them from this year then later in the month I have some other goodies, spiders, renders, plants i'm going to be making to fit this month... this is the first time I grew pepper plants...these are Italian red bell peppers. actually they did the best of all the veggies I planted. it's too hot here to grow very much...behind the red pepper are some carrots...also a first...the whiteish blooms are one that bloomed which I read is not good but it's the only one that did it. I can't harvest until after the 2nd frost...so i'm curious...behind that on what I refer to as one of my tree limb sculptures...are my passion flower vines...which you all saw the flowers it produces...and also produces fruit...it has a calming sedative effect when drank as tea,etc as well...so you can see about 3 of the red peppers on one of the plants...those have been picked and eaten already but it's still producing...on the left in the pots where some cauliflower, Brussels sprounts and broccoli which I started but never planted in the ground and the insects just ate all the leaves off them...I don't think they would have done well even if I would have planted them. I've got to slow it down...i'm getting old and trying to do too much...anyway...I hope you like this little glimpse into a part of my garden... have a great happy and safe time... ***chills and thrills***

I have grown peppers too and they always taste better I think that's because we grew them :) I'm sure yours will taste better than shop bought ones for the same reason, I know you'll enjoy them, great shot :)

Maybe the blooming carrot will give seed for next year. But the carrot must be hard as wood. My only attempt with carrots ended like a cartoon. A vole eat them from beneath
