Description
Kukri started to stretch a sealed walkway to allow the two ships to connect, but JS noticed the twin door on RDS Glee's hull was in one of the damaged areas and it was impossible to have an airtight room.
"We have only four spacesuits, so we must board in another way."
"I could hook it to the hull." Kukri suggested.
"No, it would take hours to open a hole in the hull and we don't have all this time." JS replied.
"RDS Glee could land on my flight deck." Dirk suggested.
"It might, but in an oxygen atmosphere the fire could break out again. Anyway we don't have all this energy. Do you have a shuttle?" JS asked.
"Yes, we have four. They can carry 5 people each."
"Good. Send me a rope so that I can hook this ship to you. I'll come right off and take a shuttle. Oh, one more thing. Can you prepare something to eat and drink for the girls, it will distract them during the crossing."
"Sweets like trick or treat?" Dirk asked.
"What the hell ... "
"Blaze told us about this custom, but what does it mean?" asked Kukri.
"It's a long story, but yes, prepare some sweets, it'll do the trick."
"What's a trick?"
"This is also a long story, there's no time." JS grabbed the cable, then thought of Eve scolding him: "Stop doing everything by yourself, Jay! There're also the others, let them help you." He thought that if something happened to him the others would die without knowing that there were two ships nearby. "I'm going to tell Maurr, Fierce's captain, and the others."
"Why is Fierce's captain here without her?" Dirk asked.
"This is also a long story. OK, girls, questions later, now we have no time. When we are on board I'll answer your questions. Well, those I have an answer for." Then he remembered Vickie's first time and added: "Do you need to fuel up?"
"We aren't hungry, but as soon as you can, we'd like to eat."
"Roger that." JS replied.
JS sauntered into the main deck and announced: "Our pick up is here."
The deck burst out roaring with joy. He motioned to Maurr and the others to follow him.
"Were you able to contact Eve?" Maurr asked.
"No," said JS, his eyes flashing with mirth. "Put your space suits on."
Maurr frowned, puzzled. On the flight deck JS showed the ships with a vocal drum roll: "Tan-ta-tan!"
"Oh my!" the others cried.
"There are four shuttles, two per ship. I'm going over there to take a shuttle hooked to the cable, then I'll be back here. The boarding bridge is working, so we can pick up our people and go back and forth."
Back with the shuttle, JS called Puhrr: "Puhrr, you and two other girls will come with me and Guhrr. You must... "
"Gosh, Jay, where did you find these ships?!" shouted Puhrr interrupting him.
"JS's magic!" Maurr laughed.
Puhrr gave JS a peck on his cheek and trilled : "What should I do?"
"Be my hostess." JS grinned. "Guhrr, with the second shuttle start to ferry the others. Maurr and Wehrr, I'll take you on Dirk to get the other shuttles. Kahrr, you direct the traffic here: no fuss, no mess, right?"
The others nodded and began to organize shifts.
In the shuttle the girls were oohing and aahing, while Puhrr posed as a veteran sucking a lollipop nonchalantly. A he-bot served some wine.
JS noted that the shuttle and also the he-bots were like those he instructed Blaze to manufacture and wondered where the two ships had taken this intel.
"It's a very long story." Dirk chuckled reading his thoughts. "I'm just kidding, mom liked your wisecracks. When a ship returns to Nowhere, she leaves her full DNA memory modules to the daughter ships. Blaze is part of us, Jay, as well as S-Malek and you, she linked some of your DNA to ours. Unfortunately nothing remains of the rest of the crew." Dirk ended sadly.
"No, they are in our hearts, Dirk, and will live forever!" JS replied. "Can we contact Vickie and Eve?"
"Of course."
"Eve, sweetheart, how is it with you?" JS shouted gleefully.

delicious use of the mapps pack dear Flavia.as i am not so good in halloween images,but wants to use this fine gift by mike mapps i had to integrate it in no-halloween scenes as you did ,we seem to be on the same wavelength lol.a fine idea.
