Description

I shot the Andromeda Galaxy last night at the Worley Observatory. Here is the stacked results from 37 (240 second) shots and a little photoshop work. Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Awesome Jody! Need to be careful with Andromeda, it can turn into an obsession. There's a guy on flickr whose been collecting subs for over two years for his images! Got my replacement ED80 a couple of weeks ago. On Sunday night I got all set up and aligned on the HEQ5 mount and.... the hand controller malfuntioned then stopped working. The frustrations of this hobby never seem to end (or the expense).

Oh..... Man..... I hate that! Everything worked perfectly that night. A club member was fighting his autoguider and dome that night. As soon as he got guiding good, the scope hit the dome. LOL I want to shoot more on the Cocoon Nebula this Saturday night.
