Description
Gone fishing, instead of just a wishing....... Louie Armstrong got it right when he and Bing Crosby sang that song. I went fishing at the observatory last night and all I got was fuzzy data and wet. The dew was thick and it showed on my photos. This is all I could keep when the night was over. But, I did better than some folks at the observatory. I had a hair dryer to keep my equipment some what dry. haha. Thanks for viewing and any comments.

It's still a good shot given the circumstances I need to get a heated dew shield for my scope then I might try some photography with it

If it makes you feel any better, I got up at 4.45 am before going to work on Friday to try and shoot Comet Ison. Result? Nothing. Nicht. Nada. It can crash into the sun as far as I'm concerned!! ;)

Ha ha, that reminds me of doing a night time exposure and being taken aback by everything being out of focus...then I realized that dew had settles on my lens in a matter of minutes! And I had no hair dryer...
