Description

Diese Unterführung - der GLEIMTUNNEL - verbindet Ost und Westberlin. Den Bezirk Prenzlauer Berg mit dem Bezirk Wedding. Diese Unterführung habe ich extra als Negativ hochgeladen weil dieser Teil von Berlin auch negativ vorbelastet ist. Oben auf der Brücke sind die Grenzsoldaten der DDR mit Autos die Grenze abgefahren und mit Hunden abgelaufen. Sie war ein Teil des Todesstreifen der Berliner Mauer. Das Bild ist aus meinem Album : Wege ============================================================== This underpass - the GLEIM TUNNEL - connects East and West Berlin. The Prenzlauer Berg district with the district of Wedding. This underpass I have uploaded specially as negative because this part of Berlin is also biased negatively. Up on the bridge, the East German border guards are the border with dogs expired and with cars departed. She was part of the death strip of the Berlin Wall. The image is from my album: Ways

Großartiger Kniff mit dem Negativ. Ja, es ist traurig, wie die Stadt damals zerrissen wurde, Schüsse fielen und trotzdem empfanden es alle als normal. Sie waren machtlos. Zum Glück ist dieser Spuk vorbei. Trotzdem sollte niemand diese Zeit vergessen, vor allem sollten die Todesopfer und Politisch Gefangenen unvergessen bleiben.

Negativland ? But impossible not to see the glimmer of hope, the necessary light for any photo as for the hope, the one at the end of the tunnel represented there by these both characters who go and come, free. To say :"Is everything possible" ? And the question stays : with or without walls, are we really free ?
