As the gunsmoke lifted I offered the Major my hand, I helped her to her feet, her reaction was understandable "You stupid bas^%rd ! look what you' ve done.......you've killed Mickey Mouse!!!", she yelled. I looked down at the, still twitching, yellow boots and said " It was the surprise! and you cowering in terror, I just reacted...". A look of disbelief spread across the Majors face as she said, "Ohh no, NO! don't try and blame me, I wasn't cowering I was...I was...in awe and then YOU blunder in!!. Taking a knife from my boot, I cut away the dead rodents head, to reveal the unfortunate human encased in the foam rubber suit, and said " they'll just hire another spotty youth to replace him and nobody will ever know.......they do it all the time !". The Major cheered up immediately, " Oh! that's alright then, but what's he doing here ?", she enquired. As we moved towards distant voices I explained..." when this underground labyrinth was built, they had no Sat-Nav or lasers, it was all done by precise calculation, pure skill and intuition", " That's amazing !" said the Major, I continued " they got lost! and accidentally tunnelled under Disneyland. This caused subsidence under the Fairy Castle, as reparation my Grandfather agreed to let the characters use the tunnels to traverse Disneyland, avoiding snot nosed little brats wanting to paw them ". The Major gave me a stern look and said " well try and bare that in mind if we bump into a talking Duck!". The voices were very close now, definitely Rock and Gloria Wellstacked, coming from behind a door just ahead, I could hear Gloria pleading " no, no you mustn't, this is wrong, a Gentleman would never......" I'd heard enough. For speed and ease of movement I propped the machine gun against the door frame and drew my sidearm, turning the handle I put my shoulder to the door and burst through. Rock was in front of me, I aimed at his head and said "freeze", at the same time I caught a movement off to my left, it was Gloria, crouching behind some crates. Motioning with my free hand I said " it's alright, you're safe now, you can come out", Gloria shook her head and stayed put, turning to Rock I said " you fiend, what have you done to her, she's terrified......ohhh!!". It was then I saw the bath towel in Rock's hand and Gloria said " I'm not terrified, I'm naked !", I stepped up to Rock, telling the Major "keep him covered", taking the towel I walked towards Gloria. "That's close enough" she said, it certainly was ! the view was stunning..... I heard the Major shout " watch out !! " just as Rock punched me in the kidney. As I clutched my side and sank to the floor, my gun slipped from my grasp and Rock picked it up, pointing the Luger at me and the Python at the Major he said " that's better'. Getting to my feet I glared at the Major and asked " why didn't you shoot him ?" she looked shamefaced and said " I dropped my gun, back there, when Mickey Mouse.........scared me, and when you shot him, he fell on it". Rock backed up, all the while keeping us covered, he stopped in front of a door, above which was a most implausible sign. Tucking the Python in his belt he picked up the attache case and said " before I leave and just for the record, I DID and intended to DO nothing to Miss Wellstacked, I cut my arm on a jagged bit of metal and wanted the towel for a bandage. Now, I'm going to leave by this most convenient exit, I may hang around on the other side, then again, I may not but if anyone opens this door in the next ten minutes I'll shoot you all, starting with the ladies". A small voice floated out of a corner of the room, " eeerrrrmmm, I'm sorry to interrupt but if I could just say...." it was Stan, from the paintshop, nobody had noticed him behind his easel.
