I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

You just never know who you'll run into! :) Those RR folks seem to be everywhere! LOL! Great job with this. She really stands out in the Midwest, doesn't she? :P

You took me right down the garden path in the first few sentences! Then I woke up and realized what I was seeing. She fits right in...great job complete with dialogue. Super.

I just sit here and hear myself say "Wow" over and over again. You are truely the master of integration. Her reflection, shadow on the floor is exquisite, I can only imagine it was done by deleting a real person who was there and putting in Robotica, but knowing you it is equaly likely that you did the shadows yourself. Sadly it speaks of midwestern America that Robotica is in the best shape of all the people in the room. I also wonder why you even took this shot in the first place, it is something I would never, ever do.
RodS
Your second guess is the correct one, Roxy! :-D I added the shadows... Photoshop is my good friend! As to why I took the photo in the first place... A good friend once commented that she wondered sometimes if I didn't have backgrounds in mind when I took some of my shots. She (wonder who it was...LOL) was right! :-D

Well Rod, I have to quote Roxy because I think she said it best .... "I just sit here and hear myself say "Wow" over and over again. You are truely the master of integration. Her reflection, shadow on the floor is exquisite". That bill looks like a larger denomination than a one though. Seems this little lady is quite generous with her cyber money, LOL. Interesting story thus far. I wonder who this other girl is that she is planning to me. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Have to wait and see I guess. :-)

ROTFL, I have to look at Johnny's post before I connect the two images together. That was a really funny one. Your stories just made my day--- top-notch in story-telling. As always, the 3D character and the background were blended so seamlessly.
mickeyrony
Hummm... Great history and you bring her in your memory to feel the scene so well .Again a work of class ((5++))

In Northern California, I used to live near the Cow Palace. It was a huge purple place ugly as sin. Lol. Nice shot, Rod. Don't let this one get away. ;}

Nicely done!

Rod, this is really fun! I love photo composits when done well, as you have done here! Nice job with the lighting, which is the most difficult part. I use the photo as a background just to get the lighting right. Then I use it on a plane in order to get the pesky antialiasing in Photoshop to match the background colors. Keep up the good work! :-)
debbielove
Brilliant! You know at first glace I'd have thought it was a real hunny! Your blending is top notch Rod! Very good job and funny as well.. Well done! Rob
