Description

I spent a few days in Portland earlier in the month visiting a friend. Unfortunately, I timed my visit during a series of rainstorms. One afternoon the clouds broke and she suggested we ride the tram for a view of the city. Mother nature cooperated and the sun came out for a few minutes whil I grabbed this shot. You can see the next band of rain lurking on the horizon. Enjoy

I was taught that bad weather is usually the most photogenic as you get dramatic skies and few people actually go out and do it making these types of shots all the more unusual and gripping. I think you well illustrate my teacher's point.
