Description
Its been a strange night as I was creating this little monsterpiece.
The dogs kept barking oddly. I finally went outside. I didn't see anything, its pretty inky out there tonight. But I followed them to my wind sock pole & saw a light colored, 'something' on top. I knew, rather than saw, that it was a very large owl.
(the Apache in me knows that Owl is woman's strongest medicine)
I got a huge MagLite out & shined it in his face a few times. He didn't flinch. I came in & got my camera. He let me get withing 6 feet of him. Just watching me. I took a couple dozen good flash shots, just to be sure I got a good angle.
came in & hooked up the camera to the pc.
There were my shots. I opened each and every one of them.
No owl. Everything else was there...

That is strange... about the owl. I have found I should always trust my dogs. They "feel" things, and apparently you saw what you were suppose to, it just wasn't something that could be captured on film. :) Excellent image, sends chills up my spine.

This is the most beautiful work done with Poser I've ever seen, a true artwork. His eyes look directly in mine, and I wonder what he's thinking... I'll give you my most sincere congratulations (also for the message that you wrote above).

Now that would have freaked me out, powerful omen or not. Let's hope your ghost owl brings you lots of good fortune. The render is wonderfully creepy by the way.

That's a pretty scary story. How appropriate for Halloween. But how nice that there are still things we can not explain. Great image!

Sometimes I wonder if we unwittingly invite horror in. I don't see the owl as a malignant presence, though, real or not. That's a really strange story. A spirit owl, maybe? This image creeps me out, but I think all clowns are out to get me, so good to see one locked up...LOL

Take care, strong medicine often exacts a heavy price! Owl -- The owl is ruler of the night and seer of souls. The owl is honored as the keeper of spirits who had passed from one plane to another. Often myth indicates the owl accompanying a spirit to the underworld; winging it's newly freed soul from the physical world into the realm of spirit. Bringer of wisdom, reveals secrets and omens, intuition and clairvoyance. Brings clarity and illumination to dreams, (Moon Magick). The "night eagle", seeing and hearing that which others cannot. Be aware of omens and portents for the owl brings the power to extract secrets, out of the, darkness. Native American Totem Animal for "Sagittarius". ('Lilith', who was the first wife of Adam in the Garden of Eden and in Christian lore was said to be the first witch, is often depicted as appearing in the form of a screech owl or with screech owls as familiars. The owl is also the familiar of Goddess' Athena') Screech Owl -- Creatures of the night who go about unseen. Bravery and ferociousness. Fiercely independent but, works well with others. Differing regional accents. Totem animal of 'Lilith' Haunting render! HugZ! Ariana

Could explain why it was not in your photos!!!

I think Owls will do that. They let you see them with your eyes but they are touchy about letting cameras capture their shape. What a great spooky night experience. This render is fabulous. I love every aspect of what you captured in this killer render.
