Ohhhhhhh ... lovely! The trees form such an intimate space, it makes me want to trade places with the walker. What a wonderful photograph!

In other places, I've said that I often see "threes" in your work. It may not be a prominent element, and sometimes it's very recessive, but I see it a lot. It could just be me: But here I see it again: The shadowed trees on the left, the lighter trees on the right, and the middle path in the middle, with the light from behind pouring down, with a person and a car punctuating it. They kind of make the center to the piece. You have a way, sometimes, of taking broad swaths of nature or humanity and giving it to us in a few powerful "sectors": you simplify what we see, but you never remove its mystery. It feels like differing forces working together, in tension and in harmony. And see, I don't think your subject material, here, is unusual at all for photographers---maybe the fog makes it a bit more unusual, but basically a road with nature on both sides is not uncommon. (I've got several such shots in my gallery, and find it very hard to make them sing after a while.) But you have a way of making a 'power' out of each of these elements, the darker trees are a power, the lighter, a power, the center (with person and car), a power. So a scene we've all captured many times suddenly becomes archetypal, a collective of powers. So even if you do a common subject, you find archetypes, essences. Simple and beautiful and 'calling'.
