I wanted to do a quick Birthday wish for all the October Kids - now that October is almost over.... Where does the time go?
This turned out to be anything but quick..... These gals have a way of writing their own stories (I think Dan will back me up on that...) It took all day Sunday to figure out how I was going to do the.......ummmm....... aftermath of the cake. Rather than blowing up a real cake (which is rather messy), I resorted to smashing up bits of packing foam with a hammer, then photographing them on a black felt background. I added the raspberry color and icing in Photoshop, then splattered the Girls with a scatter brush. They're so patient with me...
Anyway, the Girls wanted to wish all the Octo-babies a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I used so many different things in this little episode, I can't possibly remember them all - I really need to start keeping notes. I'll list the ones I remember, and add the others later :-P
I want to thank Dan (diemamker) for letting his lovely ladies come over to play (and for coming to Ar and G4's rescue - more coming on that story)! And, of course, the next page in the T.N.A. saga.

Man I got to say this came out outstanding!!!... way better than the one I did!!... I can see why it took so long to make! you out did your self on this one... And Yes they seem to take over before you even know it! I just love how you put this together, it really rocks, now I going to have to find these awesome looking outfits for the girls... well, I guess I can tighten my belt a little more!.. LOL! I really lost it when I read Ranpha's question, "Ahh... I'm almost afraid to ask, but... who brought the candles?" Know I wonder what will they do next year!!!... Oh btw that board with the birthday list came to cool... ah Some guy?... you made my week with this render!... have a good one buddy! 20000 stars!!

Hi Rod! Thanks for the bday wishes! Yes, I am a cradle robber as Mike is about 14 hours younger than me. LOVE those younger guys!!!! Thanks for all of the work you put into this!! That cake was surely...surprising, LOL. Hope none of the girls suffered permanent damage to their skin or hair with all of the frosting or sprinkles!!
