Description
Captured 10/4/13, early AM, somewhere around the neighborhood.
A definite candidate for ZOOM.
Other than some lighting balance, no manipulation of any sort was performed on this foto of a visitor from outer space, who had collided with a tree in his craft and eventually came out a board for a fence. Poor chap. Anyway, I felt this appropriate in anticipation of the grand sacrosanct day and night next October 31st.
Toodles.

Ouch! But what a fantastic find for you with your love of Halloween; and even with eyes that big he still couldn't avoid the unfortunate collision! Still, he makes a great fence... excellent shot, Harry!

This chap's demise came about with that big nail striking him between the eyes. Very creative; lighting and shadow, good job!

Yes, it's perfect for Halloween. Fine shot, and fine eye too, as you did little to it either in or out of the camera. Your eye at work...One could say you're lucky to find a fence plank like this; but when you've studied these things over and over, you'll find things that other people will pass by, because you're eye's become that attuned. Amazing face-like form, two slanted eyes, an expression of evil glee ("schadenfreude" maybe), he seems to be smiling---even though the smile's beneath the frame, strong "jowl" lines on either side, and---yes---a "third eye" lol: That Buddhist symbol between the eyes, of inner knowledge, etc. Only here, it's a rusty nail! Love it. You couldn't have presented this face better than this. A delight, and pretty scary too. (And I think there's another nail in its left eye---that's gotta hurt.) Terrific find and capture, Harry, teaching again, there are whole worlds in front of us, if we only bother to look...
