Description

This shot was taken from the hotel in Aberfoyle, in the Trossacks, Scotland, it shows the contrast between the man-made manicured lawns and planted trees, then beyond to a glimpse of Loch Ard and then to natures way of doing things. Many thanks for taking a look, Rob

This is a fantastic environment, my friend. Certainly better in horizontal format. But I think you wanted to have the clouds. But my opinion is subjective. Class image, Rob!

I too prefer horizontal formats for landscapes but you are also right that in this case I did want the clouds, thank you for your kind and constructive comment :)

The contrast is indeed interesting to see Rob. Cultivated first, and then the forests and rugged mountains. At the front of Loch Art I see two lines, if there are transport lines, but that isn't possible, I guess. Many thanks for your very friendly site mail, I admire your work, which is always so well thought created, and chosen.

see what you mean, typical english garden in front and raugh mountains and woods in the background! the contrast is underlined by the colors and sunlight in front and the darker and wild parts in the back with dramatic dark clouds above! and both is separated by the loch! a really splendid mixed and composed nature shot! ;o)
