What a vibrant orange, if I'm not mistaken this is edible! but is seldom eaten because there are others that look a bit similar and those one's are highly poisonous. Fungus can be a minefield and you MUST use an expert before eating them. Great capture. I hope things work out for the new doggie... so many out there needing a loving home and you get so much back unconditionally, there is a space, getting a new dog is not replacing Buster but maybe giving a dog some hope to be part of the family as you did for so many years with Buster.. hope things work out for all concerned
