Description

Location: Odenwald near Heidelberg, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany Around here there are now many chestnuts, they are everywhere in the forest. Me they do not taste so much, but my wife likes collecting and eating a few of these, how you can see here. Thanks for viewing.

very pleasant place to reflect on nature. I never cared so much about nuts except pecans and now I am allergic to all nuts including some nutty people!!

A nice shot of this gathering of the chestnuts.I can take them or leave them.As children we use to collect horse chestnuts from around the neighborhood.The aren't good to eat,but I always liked the rich,brown color.
