Description
That famous quote from the 1976 movie, Taxi Driver. Probably upset because he missed his dentist and dermatologist appointments.
Captured 10/22/12, around midnight, about 1.25 miles from home.
ZOOM, if you dare.
Been feeling lousy over the last few days, possibly from an ancient curse, but it was imperative that I get this out today.

I'm sorry you were feeling badly, and I hope it's better now. I know that your Halloween shots are a lot more than just a pretty face (sic) and some spooky backgrounds: I know you put a lot of time into these. Fine job making his face semi-soft or blurred---neither word's correct, but I don't know what to call it. Covered in fog or some invisible slime, maybe. It's just right for the mood, in any case. You got especially blurry with the eyes, as if they were peering out of a cloud. And you both darkened and softened the house, to make it look like an abandoned place in the moors. And against an almost coppery blue sky, you put those bats. You left lots of good open space too. You do the street ghouls proud with these images, I hope people realize the thought that goes into them. Seeing this guy makes me think of Hamlet's words to a ghost who's rummaging underground; "Well said, old mole! Canst work i’ the earth so fast?"Fine work, Harry, even moreso because you did it when you were under the weather. Fitting for this season when our ancestors are supposed to return to scare the ____ out of us, and grab a quick bite. (Well, literally.) Really good postwork, subtle and spooky. And on that, the modern horror flicks, to me, are often more about action and special effects, whereas the old ones are more about mood, eerieness and tragedy. Some are very funny too ("Old Dark House"---a deliciously delectable film.) Your Halloween images are in the latter camp, and a whole lot better than the gizmo special effects that some Halloween images have.
