Description
After a visit to the beauty salon, hair to die for.
Captured 10/22/12, a little past midnight, about 1.25 miles from home.
Shockingly better via ZOOM.
Tomorrow's the big day/night. Strange and bizarre entities will be prowling about, so be wary of what comes to your door under the guise of being children in costume.

You were out after midnight? Shooting? Wow, I'm impressed! I'm never up that late...this is suitably frightening, looks like a T-Rex in clown regalia. Do you get many children coming to your door? We get none, our house is on a steep rise and it's very dark and treacherous footing. Excellent work on this celebratory image, Harry!

If you caught these around midnight, you had to do some fine camera and/or postwork, because the figures don't seem artificially lit at all: They look as if they were shot in daylight. Nice pairing and cropping here (the two figures); as well as the green light around the upper guy. Whether you put it there yourself, or you cropped it so that it would flow around his form like that, it's fine work. And the lit clouds to either side of the clown...more good composition. Now, on the clown? Ie, the dude with "a bad hair day"? If you got that at midnight, kudos! Such clarity in the hues and details. Also, that's one of the greatest looking Halloween figures I've seen, and we have some pretty whacked-out figures in my neighborhood. And once again, your sky is suitably smooth, like your last shot (it's actually quite beautiful, in fact); and you composed it all well too, with the top guy's left hand higher, making room for the message below. I assume your backgrounds come from your area, right? If so, it's fun to transform them this way, isn't it? Some of my manipulation-montages are from my neighborhood, so I know the satisfaction. Yet it takes time and effort...More fine work from you, for this holiday. (It's the "Cross Quarter" holiday of Autumn, cognate with Carnivale, May Day, and "Midsummer" ((as in Midsummer Night's Dream" where spirits come out and play havoc with lovers)): The midway-point through the season, where celebration breaks out, and people even dance with the dead. What could be better??? Bows to you for your work, this time of year. You always do a fine job with these.

Mmmmmm? Not me, I find them rather freaky! I mean have you seen Stephen Kings 'It'? Good one again Mate Rob
