Wow! I absolutely love this high-key beauty; the geese make a stunning anchor for the foreground, and the buildings are a slightly hazy delineation of the horizon, with that glowing white water between, connected by the strong trunk (almost human leg shaped!) . What a classy and elegant shot! You did well here, and it's mesmerizing!

Just love seeing the geese. We get flocks of them here and they are a treat, as I know they'll be leaving soon. This photo has a very nice mood quality to it, relaxed with the muted tones, and transitional. And there is a shape behind the tree, in the middle left area, that almost looks like half a horse head looking at us.

Hi, Mark:))))) I love this ! You show in the right, a bit of your great city....But you gave force to the two giants ... both are so strong! I am impressed by the lonely building and the lonely tree. Make me think in a conversation face to face between Men and Nature, and the lake, silent, separating 2 worlds. Curious how the ducks are separated in 2 groups also. I Love the ambient you created. Stunning photograph as always!

Denise and Ana already said everything I was thinking about this. :P Can I just ride along on their coattails? It's a marvelous picture, and the composition is SO pleasing! It's unusual, but somehow still classic. Beautiful image!

Mark, first of all it was such a delight to see you upload another image. This photo is especially nice, and served to brighten a dreary day. As already pointed out the geese helped make this one complete, as I enjoy seeing them frolic about. What I always admire is the pride you take in you're city. You are blessed to live in such a lovely area that offers so many sites.

High contrast up close of the tree trunk and geese, with good depth indicated by the background and blank lake, rendered in a sepialike, futuristic milieu, Mark. Actually, I'm completely lost at sea in describing the artificial background, but it's a nice deviation from the foreground. Very cool work, my friend.

Hello Mark. Always great to see you and your latest photos my friend. I really like your high-key treatment. I don't think I've got a single high-key shot in my gallery. It is inspiring me to give it a try. Tara and I spent an entire afternoon yesterday in an old-old Arizona truck yard filled with worn-out derelicts. Maybe there's a candidate from there for me to play with:)
