this colorado vista was captured near the rocky mountain national park... enjoy the view! it may not look it, but many of these peaks exceed 14000 feet in altitude... pretty impressive in my book. :) oh, and many thanks to all for your kind comments and favoritings of my colorado series ...more to come!

This is great. I'm sorry but I missed your last shot. What a beautiful and magestic place. I have only visited it in high summer. What caught my eye are the orange tress in the middle. Amazing.

Yep, get out and walk around up there and you soon realize just how high up you are. This is in my backyard and it still leaves me in awe.
