Description
a big part of what makes colorado's garden of the gods so special is that the elements have sculpted the rock into fantastic shapes that, in some, cases, seem to defy physics. another is the mineral composition of the rock itself, which puts the 'color' into 'colorado' - don't you agree? :) enjoy the view, and thanks as always for your kind comments!

beautiful I read today the they are putting a statue of John Denver at Red Rocks and that it was his favorite place to perform. I don't think we got to that area because of the flooding but hopefully next time. That was fun to climb up on ! and the view was amazing.

i'm not surprised that the red rocks amphitheater would've been jd's favorite venue... i hear it's got nearly perfect acoustics, in addition to being visually inspirational. know who else likes to perform there? ...jt - as in 'i'm-john-tesh-and-you're-not' lol - might have to catch one of his performances there sometime, heheheh! it sure is fun traveling with you! :)
