Description

today's post features one of the crown jewels of colorado's garden of the gods: balancing rock - a wind-and-water-sculpted behemoth supported on an impossibly petite base. tourists take turns posing for snapshots as they struggle heroically either to hold it in place or push it over. i'd hate to be the one who finally accomplishes the latter! :) enjoy, and thanks to all who've commented/favorited my work! camera: nikon d3000 postwork: picmonkey locale: garden of the gods, colorado, usa link to my last image, 'erosion art':

Is that the rock you tried to push on top of me??? haha This is an amazing photo and all of your photos that you have posted from Colorado truly are amazing! You are motivating me to post some of mine I have been a bit lazy with posting lately or maybe not inspired or too much other stuff on my mind. Or maybe I need my best friend with me to go out taking photos again. hint hint
