I wonder whether I should complement the face (shadows and couelurs). Thank you for your advice and I hope you enjoy it. Pencils, pens and paints on white paper 24x30. Ah half remembered things. Many moons ago, when the world was flat and you would NEVER need more than 640KB of RAM, I attended an animation festival. One was a coming of age tale with characters rendered much like this. I remember the smell of the popcorn, the holes in the screen curtain but I don't remember the title. But I remember a great night full of fun. So no, this is perfect the way it is.

Excellent portrait et surtout composition comme toujours Yves .Un rien de nostalgie dans le regard avec cette île au loin .Nonobstant il me semble (subjectivité oblige) qu'à l'instar de Helle la couleur de la chevelure me .....défrise un peu en rompant avec l'harmonie de l'ensemble....Mais les goûts et les couleurs....Bonne journée (avec la fraîcheur parisienne)

I think leaving the details off her face make a great contrast to the harsh lunar-like terrain, just a view from her cabin...wherever or what ever that might be ! Well done & ~Cheers~
