Description

Battle of Britain the fourth. The title refers to a 1952 BoB movie starting Jack Hawkins, I used another of Neil's steeds, the Hurricane Mk I, reworked the textures with some TLC, & came up with RCAF 242 Squadron, of BoB fame under the leadership of Squadron Leader Douglas Bader, letters LED, & his wingman Willie McKnight's ship LEA with the Grim Reaper nose art. The third ship LEX belonged to an unknown pilot. A little tribute for the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Remembrance Day!

Wonderful Luis. This is another film I have in my dvd collection. It also had the great John Gregson, and cool star of the 50's and 60's.

Another real beauty Luis, I recently came across the folder with all the renders from my BoB series, it contains a render of Bader and McKnight in these aircraft, I always loved the squadron nose-art :-) May post it for old times sake..
