Description
Battle Of Britain, the Third. Using another of Neil's steeds from his BoB stable. The Fairey Battle, 1930's single engine bomber, totally obsolete by the time of the Battle of France & Battle of Britain. Didn't see much service after the Battle of France except as a target tow, but it did participate in the early days of the BoB. I figured Cars & Planes... Can't go wrong with a Jag. The Jag came from ShareCG, used my ground support gear & tents to fill in the scene.

There are all the fine things of Tryphon inside this picture. Oh yeah, great... A very busy scene. So, I think, it was more than 70 years ago...

Probably less well known than even the BPD, having stood next to the one at Hendon, the Battle does have a 'presence'. It looks like a big fighter with the single engine and the bomb load was very poor but it was another important player in the very early days. Great image, the monochrome sits perfectly with this piece. If they ever remade the BoB movie this would be a great replacement for the opening scene......

Most excellent! I agree that doing this in monochrome is very effective.
