Description

Terragen 2; dry brush object from Jan Walter Schliep's dry_bush_package: http://www.silva3d.com/product.php?id_product=57 Contrast tweak and sharpening done in post in CS. I worked alot with the pf for color, slope, altitude and coverage values, and I'm still having a difficult time getting a varied surface. It looks more varied in my preview window, but when I render, the variation of tones is not there. Puzzled. Thank you for your kind comments and suggestions on recently posted renders.

Desert Song, also called Windsong ...from Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey. Just a suggestion; consider changing the shrub color to a grayish green. Maybe could be done by adjusting the 'diffuse color of the leave parts of the bush model. Then, you would have some good contrast between the vegetation and the terrain.

Interesting note re the title. Thanks. I appreciate your great suggestion, Bob. Will do. I have dome that before with another bush or three, so I'm familiar with the process. Thanks again. :-)

Terrific terrain! Love the big slanted rock on the left...a sign of ancient upheaval. Great atmo too...hot and dry looking. I'd love to hike around a place like this...with a backpack full of water bottles ;-) Nice work Linda!!
