Description
MB3D; contrast tweak + sharpen added in post.
I don't understand. The lighting I use does not match the lighting I see when I open the M3I. It's been sooo frustrating trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to save the lighting separately?
Thank you for the comments you left and favorites you have chosen. I appreciate your time and thoughtfulness.

Nice work. I can't answer your question because MB interests me very much, but I'm so involved in fromula writing UF that no time is left for other interests.

All Lighting and Gradient settings are saved with both Param and M3i files, the only difference with m3I files and Param files is the ability to save the Rendered Image with them, Light/Gradient files can be saved or applied seperately also. The main things that can change Lighting/Gradient is Render settings (Raystep, Limiter, Stepcount, Normals)and size, especially if you use the Preview/Mid/High resolution buttons, I never use presets, also the postprocessing of Ambient Occlusion or Distance Estimated Shadorws can affect overall color and Brightness. What I do is no matter the size of the Render, whether it's for a preview of Final Render, is to use the Render settings I will be using on the Final Render, that will keep things equal. Peace
