Wir sind immer noch in Berlin. Ich war gestern in einer Ecke von Berlin, die ich noch nie besucht habe. Berlin-Marzahn. Am Rand von Berlin - wo es früher ländlich gewesen ist - befinden sich heute Neubauten - Plattenbau Siedlungen. Zu DDR Zeiten beliebt wegen dem übergroßen Wohnungsmangel und dem "Luxus" in den Wohnungen. Darunter verstand man: keine Ofenheizung mehr. Toilette in der Wohnung und auch ein Bad. Warmwasser. Fahrstuhl. Früher also Vorzeige Objekt. Heute : Ghetto und sozialer Brennpunkt! Und mitten drin in dieser Siedlung fand ich diesen Schatz. Liebevoll erhalten von den ehemaligen Dorfbewohnern, die einen kleinen Kern bewahrt haben. ============================================== We are still in Berlin. Yesterday I was in a corner of Berlin, which I've never visited. On the outskirts of Berlin - where it's been earlier rural - are now new buildings - housing estates. In GDR times popular because of the oversized housing shortage and the "luxury" in the apartments. Among was understood: no heating furnace. Toilet in the apartment and also a bathroom. Warm water. Lift. So earlier showpiece. Today: Ghetto and social hotspot! And in the middle of this village I found this treasure. Lovingly received and reconstructed from the old villagers, who still in retains a tiny village core life.

Ich bin überrascht! Mit Berlin-Marzahn verbinde ich auch nur die ollen Plattenbauten. Aber sehr schön, dass es da auch noch etwas anders gibt.

That's fantastic given what you say in the description above it's hard to believe that it would be restored ! here some of the old windmills have been converted to houses which is good as they are still there except without vanes ! A beautiful landscape scene Sonja :)
