Description
Fritz is completely recovered from his dental operation, and in spite of having several teeth extracted has not for one minute lost his appetite.
This rather fuzzy picture is of Alan at the nursing home enjoying an odour-free kiss for a change!
We went for a post op check today, but Fritz would not allow the vet to look inside his mouth: she now realises why I could never clean his teeth.

OH Yes, I know about that. Magnus was sometimes Stinking for the same reason and lost severel teeth too. And in his last months, it were impossible to do anything about it, because he couldnt tolerate drugs. Even silverwater didnt help anymore.

I'm sure Fritz feels more comfortable now and will heal up in no time, many of us know what is it like to have a tooth out and sometimes the pain from extractions is less than the pain of it remaining in. Just thinking of that pretend advert that was shown on TV a few years back for Doggy Dentures. :-) This is a lovely capture.

Even with his canine mentality, Fritz should have realized that not having his teeth cleaned periodicalliy would have helped to prevent any tooth extraction later in life, not to mention bad breath. Live and learn, pooch.

Don't you love how they show the whites of their eyes when they are distributing liberal kisses? This has to be the best picture ever! Bet he feels ever so much better now. I hope Fritz's woes are over, and he doesn't lose any more teeth.
