Description
I've always had a heart for the PBY Catalina. One of those, "It's so ugly, it's beautiful!" aircraft. This model is from Digimation. I've used it in some of my personal renders, but one day, while waiting for a phone call from one of my customers... I was playi...uh working, yeah, that's it, WORKING on a "personal" project. Actually, playing with PhotoElements 11 to add a rain texture and thought, this was a good one to do a test run. Actually, though the rain may be a TAD too heavy, I think it lends to the drama. The only post work is ...well...the rain! The hardest (if you can see it), was doing the horizontal rain coming off the wing and elevators. Depending on comments (if any), I may try lightening it up a bit to not have to squint to see, and maybe lighten up the rain, but wanted y'all to take a gander at the "work in progress."
